HERMIT XIAN SOUND FIVE= LINDA RICH "There's More to Living Than I Know So Far"/ Back to this style for a minute. Amazing gentle xian fem platter here....super great songs and style. Great cover, the full package. On Innver Varsity Records from Chicago, well know Xian label for many a classic. Killer liner notes about a "tuff" recording session but you wouldnt know it from the fragile vibes within. Shes has other recs but this is sadly the only one i gots. Even stranger I gripped it from Stan Denski in a Xian lp lot for pocket change, weird cause this baby is hyped and mad rare. Stoked on this one..good for a snowy winter afternoon stuck mentally indoors. Keep it personal and gentle and private= That'll WORK!!! THEREZ MORE TO INZANITY THAN I DAMN KNOW RIGHT NA

The dude is Canadian via Toronto, not much info here. Great songs, uplifting atmosphere. Totally spaced on where I got this...maybe the first Dead Machines trip to Toronto last year? Who knows.. No real info here, unique eastern/acoustic journey into the foggy netherworld from this 1978 custom press. Might have come with an insert but fuck me, dont have it now. Amazing cover with intense psych line meandering vision. Super short songs that hold hours of otherworldy windows. Like a million songs!!! Included is just one side, cause better to czech under more confined per-jamm-iters. Cant tell you a damn thing about this!! Found in the best store EVER= PDQ in Tuscon.. Some know about this, but many of the mugs i drunkenly gleamed on and on about this masterpiece thought i was talking about the second Television lp (????). Mindblowing loner atmosphere, jacked-up lyrics, cryptic vibes...just cant say enuff about this... Three blokes Trevor Chapman, Peter Langford and Roger Macer= recording in 1971. This lps is top five best lps ever, easy. Might take a couple spins, and it dont help that my copy is played the fuck out, but give it a full soul lonely czech and be prepared to be MOVED!! whoa..... top of the pops... Housed in a super stark stunner of a gatefold with heavy pics of the brother/sister/husband/wife? Amazing verison of Violets of Dawn which other midwesterners Ant Trip Ceremony gave justice to as well. HERMIT XIAN SOUND THREE=THE SHADES OF '70/Here comes another weirdo brick of xian hermit spirtual claustrophobia...this one is some HUUUGEE band (via Guitar Ensemble) from shadows of Pennsylvania, yet another hub of private xian lps. Echoey-reverb out soundscape on this one...gym-fi atmosphere..all the stokers of the style. Unfortunately side two is all Xmas covers..whatever....think of it as a bizzaro TRONIKS onesider where instead of walls they did homespun hermit spirtual gnostic platters....More coming!
