America's favorite degenerate DJ threw down a sick set of chunky house and deep tech funk at our December 8th party at the Safe House. The air was thick with the sweet aroma of "the kind," and two dirty Santas were sprawled out on the couch. Per usual the party kept going past 7am. After he finished, Shifty dedicated his set to "the blond hottie out there in the fuzzy boots." For more go to www.revolutionarymusic.com |

This set was recorded at our 3rd annual all-building Halloween bash in the Safe House. Close to 1000 party people in costume came together for the party of the year. Other artists who performed in the Safe House that night included the Champagne Brothers, Sista Stroke, Shifty Johnson, Adrienne Sanchez, Angry Skinny, DJ Goulet, and Terry Swank. DJ Pap laid down this nice set of deep soulful house for us at the Safe House. Pap aka Black Mamba is 1/2 of the duo Naked Soul. He has been making music for decades with releases on Trax and Seasons to name a couple. He is an old school head whose history in Chicago's scene can be traced back to the famous Music Box and Warehouse. For more info go to www.revolutionarymusic.com.

Chunky and funky jackin' Chicago house music at its best. This set was recorded at Shifty Johnson's birthday bash on June 10th, 2006. The party was scheduled to end at 7am but we just let John keep beating it. The dancefloor stayed with him unitl we finally closed the doors close to 9am. His set brought out the inner raver in all of us. The Sound Republic just launched their new label called Spatula City Records. For more go to www.revolutionarymusic.com |

Karina performed Revolutionary Music's next release, "Night Music" along with Sista Stroke right after Gracie rocked the decks and filled the dancefloor. This was a memorable night.
