I've kind of missed you. I don't think the ANC Podcast will come back as the same thing, but it will come back. It takes a ton of time to produce a 20 minute show. I've got several new projects these days, not least of which is my own band, Robot Junky. So, I'm thinking about a new format. When I find great songs, I'll throw them into the feed, so you can still get great music from local Alaskan bands and musicians. I may do an interview or video here and there as well.
But what I think this site will become, over the next month or so, is a local music blog. A place to find out who's playing in what town, and when. What your favorite bands are up to, are they recording? Touring? Sitting on their couch eating Cheetos?? We'll keep you UTD (up to date, for you non-abbreviated types).
So, send us your tips, your info, your whatever. Email me at theancpodcast@gmail.com. Comment on a post. Send me your music, if you're a band, and we'll get your song out to a bunch of people who still listen to the audio feed.
We'll keep this thing going, no worries. Thanks for your continued support and patience, and I'm looking forward to re-vamping and making this a valuable place o be again.

Life was too short to wait on following a dream, he and Apryll decided last year. They approached their children — daughters Kendra, 18; LaRae, 16; Alisa, 15; and Meghan, 12; and sons Sean, 9; Joseph, 7; and Ammon, 5 — late one night with the idea of selling everything, buying a motor home and going on the road as bluegrass musicians.
Their website has mp3 samples, and you can buy their cds there.
