Some months after their last musical signs of life, Botany Bay finally report back with a little song about all work and no play.
Besides relasing a new single and working overtime on their day jobs, Laura Dietrich (voc, key) and Stephan Kleinert (instruments, voc) are currently recording a follow-up to their last album "Grounded", which was released in October 2007.
Unfactory connect influence of the Gothic rock of the eighties with the technoid sounds of the 90's and the new millennium. In 2001 in Florianopolis (Brazil) of Chris Lima and Deedee founded, appeared in 2004 the debut album "negatives" and a "Positronic" entitled Remixalbum. Shortly after Luciano Barbi (the zero republic Argentina) became attentive on the band and published them on the "ELECTROMAP-> LATAM" Compilation.
Meanwhile "She Bleeds" is the 3rd album of the band, which was completed now beside Chris and Deedee by Bruno Barbi, Walmoli tanner, Gustavo Storm and Andrey Silva. From 22th of September onwards, the EP will be available for download at all popular music shops on the internet like Musicload, Amazon and iTunes.
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years. And seasons. We are all changed by the time passing by, by the vortex of the numbers representing it. 2005-2008: in this period we have wrote, played, lived, lost in dark days. 3 years for 8 fragments, divided in 2 parts, 4 fragments each, 4 as we are. The 1st part is noisy, ungraceful, rotten, rough, uncouth: recorded in january of 2007, 20 years after Sonic Youth's "Sister", Dinosaur Jr's "You're living all over me". The 2nd part, 15 months later, is introspective, ominous, disaffected: recorded in april of 2008, it's a more clean & mature sounding part, because of the fact that we have changed in this time.
7 songs are from late 2005-2006, improved in all these years, years in which we saw things slowly changing, while the time was running fast.
The last track is the youngest one, the summary of what it has been since now, and what will be in the future: doubts, false hopes, new illusions.
2 different parts, parts that together testify the days we went through. Sounds from the years we are born, '86 '87 '88. The lo-fi sound of us walking, lost in dark days.

For the second time (two years old !), Dolebrai Webradio released a compilation of netlabel tracks. This is an eclectic set of 16 titles. The main genre is electronic with some rock, jazz and hip-hop stuff included. The last songs are more dancefloor oriented to make it funkier !
It is not a "best of" tracks playlisted last year, but a selection of tracks/artists which marked our past year. We hope you will enjoy it !

Außerdem schauen wir uns den Mainstream-Netaudio-Aktivist Trent Reznor und seine Nine Inch Nails an und hören in sein aktuelles Album "The Slip", das er frei im Netz verbreiten lässt.
Four guys from the capital of Germany crossing the republic. For three voices, melody, shouting and bad-ass guitars are the frame those four create their dreams of. You have to live music for approaching things as Shearer do. Genius and madness coupled with megalomania, which is entitled such as for hardly any other band.
The audience will expect a big rock album with 'Eve', but it also gives the necessary breaks for breathing, independent, catchy and diverse. The limited EP 'Adam' improves that work with even more power, a soft core and a heartbreaking end. Here you can feel the bundled intensity of the Shearer live gigs.
The whole thing was recorded at Music Lab Studio, produced by none other than Harris Johns. Private Life was completely abolished for about three months, in order to invest any spark of energy and creativity into their opus. The hard work was paid off. With 'Eve' and 'Adam' Shearer have a trend-setting masterpiece, which doesn't need to be afraid of comparisons with greats such as Foo Fighters or Beatsteaks, neither in sound nor musically things.
As it's predecessor the new album will be downloadable for an arbitrary value (or even for free!) on the band's webpage and is available in any store. The EP is exclusively available on the homepage of afmusic for free, as payable download in any popular download-stores and further more as limited CD (500 pieces) on the Shearer-Homepage or at their shows. For collectots there is even a strictly limited Double-CD Edition called 'Paradise' (200 pieces, numbered) which contains both albums in a digipak.
'Eve' and 'Adam' are under a Creative Commons by-nc-sa license; anyone can copy, sample or remix the songs for non-profit.
On 05/16/08 the digital re-release of both successful EPs by the brasilians PLASTIQUE NOIR can be found in stores like iTunes, amazonMP, emusic. a.m. The free-version of the album, including the great artwort by Jirkoart and an exclusive bonussong are already available now and licensed under a Creative Commons.
It's been a while now since Botany Bay released their album "Grounded" under a creative commons licence. After six months of drafting new material and trying to reconcile two fulltime jobs with the desire to play more live gigs, Stephan and Laura now finally released a new single, "Inhale" on the net.
With its driving rhythm and its "Carpe diem" message, "Inhale" marks quite a departure from the sound Botany Bay established on "Grounded". But listening closer to "Inhale", one can find many connections to Botany Bay's previous work...
The history of the relationship between man and machine is a history of symbolic interpretation and design of this relationship. But on the third volume of the Ultra Dark Radio-Compilation it has less to do with omnipotent feelings than with the contrast of various musical genres.
So on the first part of the compilation mainly machines are running their riot during the second part brings handmade guitarsounds to the fans' ears.
With that, all contrasts had been shown anyway which came up in the collaboration between both I-Net Radios Ultra Dark Radio and darkerradio, and it's going on for 2 years now. First of all complementing each other in an exceeding way.
And so there are with Taxim, Wynardtage, T.H.Industry, davoS, Decence, Warforge, DEN.C.T.BUG, Isis Signum feat. Sara Noxx, davaNtage, Dolls of Pain, Advocatus Diaboli, Arts of Erebus, Curious, Heavy-Current, Mystigma, The Pussybats and Reptyle ? and many more damn cool bands ? no unknowns on the compilation. Bands and artists which both have found their solid place on the stations are contributing here with unreleased tracks or exclusive remixes of their songs.

FANOE is a danish / swiss electro rock band located in zurich
switzerland. The band released their second underground indie album "Down To
Heaven" february 2008. This record is an amazing piece of work since FANOE
understands to combine rock with realy anlog dirty electro grooves. Well maybe
it's more rock than electro but the are dirty for sure ;-) .
FANOE played their first official concert as support of the
sisters of mercy (uk) in zurich 2005. Since then the played some selected venues
in switerland and at the WGT Festival Leipzig.

Rocío Valle is a talented young woman from South Andalusia, Spain. Her Dream was to produce an album with her own music. The result was the album "Despertar", an awesome piece of spanish Pop and Rock. The incredible voice of Rocío Valle makes this musical experience very special. Still it's difficult to find the right stamp for the band all:my:faults. And as you can hear on the new album, steve:kiai's still able to arrange dark soundwaves and feelings with classical & modern Rocksounds. The press wrote about a band going new musical ways, but it seem's they've ignored the fact that this is nothing but the typical underground. With releases that solely by the content and less by the outer appearance reached a big audience worldwide.
As a second vocalist & writer jonas:iscariot (Agathodaimon [Black Metal]) and ralf from 'Unknown Darkness' [Trash/Metalcore] on guitars came aboard the a:m:f-ship, and it was within a year - a diverse album - full of variations: neo.NøiR was born.
So if you've deceived to hear the album to its end: discover more than one side of all:my:faults.
