Our annual year end extravaganza. We hand out the Real Freq awards and count down our top 20 joints of 2008, with the help of a few friends, JD Era, Famous, Ty Harper, and Marco Polo.

We talk about some of the characters, ideas, and morals of the show with Agile,and our man Marco Polo pays a surprise visit.

We promised we?d bring OTA?s Ty Harper on a couple episodes back, we had to bump him last episode for K-Cut. He understood, and came back this week. We made sure to warn him prior that we will not talk about the state of Canadian Hip Hop or the music industry. We tried, some how it ended up there, sort of. Ty?s a passionate dude so it had to come out. Oh, and you get the exclusive Arcee pork on my fork verse.

Better late than never. This should have been up last week but, tech difficulties slowed us down. This show we check out Scarface?s ?swan song? Emeritus in the Listening.

In the short history of DSG we?ve had some ill episodes, Maestro was sick, the hilarity of J-Wyze but, unlucky episode 13 is by far the best. Not because we go track for track with K-Cut, one third of Main Source, on the classic Breakin? Atom?s record to uncover a track aimed at Eric B, the origins of mentor Paul C, the creative process behind JustHangin? out. That?s all good, BUT! We got the uber sclusie, never heard before selcct cuts from the original second Main Source album ?The Science? that never made it out to your or our grubbly little hands. This was so sclusie the sclusie exec was left at the door while we listened. Keez had to open his own door. Hip Hop Nerds! Enjoy?

One thing we haven?t done yet on DSG is do a complete rap nerd show. This is the rap nerd episode. We touch on cliche topics like top 20 MC?s of all time, the definition of old school, best dj cuts on record and one hit wonders. Late arrival Ty Harper of OTA sneaks into the convo to add his two cents.
