Woody is asked by a law officer to serve a court summons on Buzz Buzzard. Woody accepts but when Buzz takes a look at the summons, he disposes of Woody and thwarts all his attempts to deliver it. Finally, Woody uses hypnotism to get Buzz to accept it and, just for kicks, hypnotizes him into thinking he's various animals and getting him to wander around a skyscraper skeleton. Finally, Woody brings Buzz into the officer who serves Woody with a court summons for practicing hypnotism out of season. In a large eastern American city, a fiend is loose, painting mustaches onto the faces shown on billboards and posters. This fiend is a wacky Daffy Duck whose compulsion to paint mustaches has no bounds. He is chased by police officer Porky Pig on the city walkways, in a subway station, and atop a building with a large billboard. Daffy manages to paint a mustache on anyone he encounters. He takes special delight in doing so to Porky, as many times as he can. Slug McSlug, a notorious bank robber, is chased by police after his latest heist. He reaches his country hideout, where he is promptly visited by an uninvited Daffy Duck, who is a door-to-door vendor of a variety of items. McSlug slams his door in Daffy's face, but Daffy persists in his effort to sell something to McSlug and raises the ire of the wanted criminal. McSlug opens fire on Daffy, who conveniently is wearing a sample of his company's bullet-proof vests. When Daffy turns on the gas of McSlug's stove to demonstrate the igniting power of his sample lighter, McSlug literally throws Daffy out and tries the lighter himself, which blows the hideout and McSlug sky-high.
